Benefits of Seeing an Audiologist
At Birdsong Audiology, you will see an audiologist for your hearing care. At other clinics, you might see either an audiologist or a hearing instrument specialist. An audiologist is the most highly-trained professional that you can see for your hearing care.
Audiologists perform comprehensive diagnostic hearing assessments. They have the knowledge and training to accurately perform complex hearing tests and recommend medical referrals as needed.
Audiologists are qualified to work with all ages.
Audiologists provide a customized experience and solution, focusing on your individual needs instead of a cookie-cutter process.
Audiologists are experts in hearing care and are required to complete continuing education every year.
Audiologists provide strategies and support for adjusting to hearing aids and improving communication.
Audiologists provide holistic hearing care, focusing on your overall hearing health. This includes consideration of hearing protection, tinnitus, decreased sound tolerance, ear wax removal, hearing aids, and assistive listening devices.
